[ARCHIVED] SCREEN TIME: A parent’s guide on setting realistic limits and knowing when there’s a problem

This presentation will provide a reasoned, scientific, and practical set of strategies for parents concerned about their child’s screen time. It will help parents recognize the benefits of screen-based technologies and how they can leverage them to benefit their children. This presentation will provide real-world strategies for finding a balance between screen-based and other activities for kids and take a realistic view of the risks of excessive screen time.

Our presenter, Randy Kulman, Ph.D., is the founder and president of LearningWorks for Kids, an educational technology company that specializes in using video games and interactive digital media to teach executive-functioning and academic skills.
