Emerging adulthood is a life phase consisting of various possibilities, continual change and unique challenges. The primary goal of this presentation is to discuss how positive psychology can be infused with CBT to help emerging adults not only reduce their pain and suffering, but also find meaning and joy in life. In addition to a theoretical overview of positive psychology and its application, there will be special attention paid to the negative impacts resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic on the emerging adult population and resources to promote improvement.
