Games

Games fill up fast so please call the Senior Center at 847-244-1101, ext. *501 for registration dates, program dates and any additional information. All games are subject to change.

Basketball Open Gym

Basketballs are available with a Senior Center I.D. Participants must be wearing clean, non-marking sole shoes that never have been worn outside. All participants must have an updated emergency contact card and waiver on file. Please check in at the front desk.

Bingo

Players are invited to join us for nine games of Bingo. There is no charge for the cards. Play to win small prizes.

Bowling

The bowling group meets weekly on Fridays from 12:15pm - 3:30pm, during the months of September - April, at Bertrand’s Bowling, 2616 W Washington, Waukegan. The cost is $7 which includes 3 games, shoes, coffee and donuts.

Bridge

Bunco

This fun dice game is easy to learn. Bunco players must call ahead every week to reserve their spot by Wednesday at 2:00pm at 847-244-1101, ext. *517. A minimum of 12 players is required to run this game.

Canasta

A classic card game in the rummy family. Fridays, at 10:30am-2:30pm. Please call ahead to register. 847-244-1101, ext. *501.

Chess

Bring your own board or use ours in this relaxed atmosphere. Thursdays, 12:00am-3:00pm. Please call ahead to register. 847-244-1101, ext. *501.

Cribbage

This is a fun card game where players form counting combinations that are scored by moving pegs on a cribbage board. Tuesdays, 10:30am-2:30pm.

Mexican Train Dominoes

Join us for Mexican Train Dominoes played with Warren Township rules.

Pickleball

Join us for a fun, social and friendly game of “Pickleball” at the Senior Center. Pickleball is a paddleball sport (similar to racquetball) that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Two or four players use a solid paddle made of composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball over the net. We welcome all skill levels from beginner to experienced. Call the Senior Center at 847-244-1101, ext. *501 to reserve a court time during the same week you wish to play. To make a reservation for Monday, please call the Friday before. You do not need to have a group to play. We schedule the time slots until they are full. You may be playing with other senior members. This is a great way to meet new people!
