St. Patrick's Day Luncheon

Cheers!! Join us as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the senior center. The menu includes Corned beef & cabbage, mixed veggies, red buttered parslied potatoes, tossed salad, rye bread, and tollhouse bars for dessert.

Warren Township High School Musical

Warren Township High School students would like to invite you to their “All Shook-Up,” (all Elvis songs) dress rehearsal musical on Thursday, March 17th, at the O’Plaine Campus Auditorium. We will meet at the High School, please park in the north lot (lot closest to Grand Ave) for the 4:15pm show time. Join us for an enjoyable evening supporting the wonderful and talented students of Warren Township High School.

Fireside Theatre & Lunch

“The Church Basement Ladies in a Mighty Fortress is our Basement”
In this installment of The Church Basement Ladies series, the year is 1960 and a reformation is underway. Beverly gets her first pair of high heels for confirmation.  Mrs. Snustad wins top honors at the Country Fair for her Grand Champion pickles. Mavis must find a way to deal with the new Super Highway that cuts through her farm.  Karin finds freedom behind the wheel of her husband’s pickup truck. The Pastor has found new love and announces his impending nuptials. Against the changing tide, these “bulwarks never failing” stand strong in their faith and in their friendships with more crazy antics, more great songs, and more lessons reluctantly learned. There will be time to shop in the gift shops before lunch and the performance.

Investment Fraud, COVID-19 Scams & Strategies for Saving and Investing Presentation

How to protect against investment fraud, Covid-19 scams and strategies for saving and investing. This presentation focuses on saving, investing, and red flags of investment fraud. The presentation will address how to protect against Covid-19 investment scams and understand the risks of trading based on social media. A questions & answer period will follow.

Container Gardening

A variety of herbs, flowers, and vegetables are available for sale to you at our cost. As a complimentary service, Sue Simpson along with our landscaper will help you arrange your new plants into pots. Please bring pots for your new plants, (limit 2 per person), and cash or check to pay for your new plants.

Registration is required and space is limited to the first 50 people that register.

Casino Party

What happens in Vegas doesn’t have to stay in Vegas.  Join us at the senior center for an afternoon of fun, gambling, refreshments and prizes. Test your luck at Blackjack, Roulette, Poker and Slot Machines. Doors open at 10:30am, gambling starts at 11:00am and goes until 2:00pm. The raffle will be held at 2:00pm. Your ticket includes gambling chips, one raffle ticket and refreshments.

Salad in the Park

This year the Exchange Club of Gurnee will be hosting Salad in the Park at Warren Township Senior Services. Proceeds from this event help support their programs which include the prevention of child abuse. Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event. Tickets include soup, salad and a drink. Treat yourself to incredible homemade dessert at their bake sale. Come out and support the Exchange Club of Gurnee!

Spring Barbecue Potluck

Join us for our Spring BBQ Potluck where you can sample different delicious dishes and spend the afternoon with friends. We will provide the burgers, hot dogs and beverages. We ask that each person who attends please bring a favorite side dish, salad, meat dish, appetizer or dessert to share.

Grandparent's Day

Mark your calendar for our annual “Grandparent's Day”! It will be a fun and entertaining day filled with food, a petting zoo, family photos, games, a dual lane inflatable slide, train rides, fishing and touch a truck. Registration is required.

East Troy Train & Lunch

Enjoy a scenic ride and lunch through the beautiful Wisconsin countryside aboard one of their historic electric trains. You will begin your trip at the depot in East Troy. After learning a bit of history at this 111 year old rail line in the East Troy Depot Museum, the train will stop at Indianhead Park. After arriving back at the East Troy Depot we will travel by motor coach to the Elegant Farmer to shop their variety of gourmet pies & crisps in a bag, locally grown fresh & frozen fruits and vegetables, gourmet sauces, blue ribbon cheeses & old fashioned gourmet popcorn. Lunch will include: House salad, chicken with roasted garlic parmesan cream, herb smashed red potatoes, seasonal vegetable, pull apart pan rolls and spice cake with cream cheese frosting for dessert. Dark roasted, regular, decaf coffee, & hot tea are included. Cash bar: soft drinks, beer, wine and mixed drinks. Please note, this is a historical rail-car therefore they may not be readily accessible to, or usable by persons with special needs.
